I am interested in finding somebody to teach a Saturday Nature Haiku Workshop during October (preferably), November, or December. The participants could be children and adults. I read a beautiful haiku today about..of all things...poison ivy: Streaming vine of red Wrapped around bark of tree Warning of danger In October White Memorial is celebrating "Art Beyond Sight". Several years ago a young woman, Jen Lyon, catalogued our Nature Museum in Braille. She was fourteen years old at the time. I was so inspired when I found her work in our library that I felt it would be wonderful to celebrate the visually impaired with tactile nature walks , blindfolded bird walks, and now...perhaps...a poetry workshop. I'd appreciate your ideas. Warm regards, Gerri Griswold Director of Administration and Development
